每年 3 月 26 日 Air Max Day 都會例行性替這個 Nike 旗下著名系列慶生，雖然力度一年不如一年，想想幾個有印象的 Air Max Day 活動，Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97 已經是四年前的事，Air Max Zero 旋風更是七年前，而去年 Nike 獻上一雙集 OG 經典之大成 Nike Air Max 1 ‘Evolution Of Icons’ ，實鞋設計感雖然是好的，但感覺少了些話題性與節慶熱鬧感。三十五週年的 Air Max Day 總該要有所大作，你說對吧 Nike？對吧？

2022 Air Max Day
今年以三雙 Air Max 1 為核心，推出不同地區限定配色，有點像是之前 Nike: On Air 設計大賽的發售模式，想要收集一整系列要花一點心思，不過這一次沒有太深遠背後故事，或是設計師魅力加持，純粹是三雙有特色的 Air Max 1，材料、配色、小巧思是都有的，但要擔下 Air Max Day 三十五週年的名聲，Nike 應該有更厲害武器才對，例如去年底曝光的 Air Max Scorpion。
Nike Air Max 1 ‘Premium’
國外將此配色稱為侘寂 Wabi-Sabi，是日式美學之一強調凡事都不會完美，麂皮用色些微不對稱、縫過頭的刺繡 Swoosh、仿造中底氧化裂開圖案都呈現一雙鞋不完美即是美概念。亞太與拉丁美洲地區限定發售。

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Blueprint’
以藍圖為靈感，想起前幾年 Air Max 1 也玩過類似的草稿元素，網格不只用來呼應主題，還透過不同顏色增加鞋側 Swoosh 趣味。北美地區限定發售。

其他作品暖身
就目前情況來看，今年 Air Max Day 看不到像 Air Force 1 當年 35 週年的「AF100」重量級企劃，也能認知到 Nike 這幾年漸漸削弱 Air Max Day 重要性，不過還是有幾雙鞋像沒放棄一樣，在幫 Air Max Day 暖身。包含台灣即將發售的 Concepts x Air Max 1；由 Air Max 1 啟發的 Nike Air Max Motif；以及新鞋型 Nike Air Max Dawn，可以感受到 1987 年的 Air Max 1 在三十五週年佔舉足輕重的位置，是說除了它還有誰可以代表這個時刻。或許今年的 Air Max Day 就在這個是大非大的情況下結束，希望 Nike 能打臉這篇文章說錯了。

Nike Air Max Motif
Tinker Hatfield 的設計啟發，Air Max 1 味道明顯，不過更現代更圓潤外型表明休閒取向。

承襲經典跑鞋風格，頗有 Air Tailwind 影子，可能是延續 Air Max Pre-Day 位置，包含使用回收材質設定。
